and other units, our city calligrapher Lin Zhiliang on May 28th went to the
island of Taiwan launched a 14 days "Calligraphy Exchange Tour", and
in the meantime held a personal calligraphy exhibition in Taipei City, on 10th of this month, Lin Zhiliang returned.
It is reported that Lin
Zhiliang is the first mainland calligrapher to Taiwan held a personal
exhibition of calligraphy, his "Calligraphy Exchange Tour" caused a
great sensation in Taiwan Province, by the Taiwan media as the "open
cross-strait calligraphy exchange closed window for more than 50 years ".
According to reports, Lin Zhiliang's
calligraphy exhibition by the Taiwan century Chinese painting and Calligraphy
Association, Fujian Calligraphers Association and Xiamen Fujian and Taiwan Calligraphy
Institute jointly planned and organized, from May 28th to June 1st exhibited in
Taipei City "Literary and Artistic Activity Center Gallery". On the
opening day of the exhibition, celebrities from all walks of life in Taiwan and
famous people in the painting and calligraphy circles attended the ceremony.
This exhibition featured 110 pieces of works
of Lin Zhiliang created in recent years, including the official script, running
script and cursive script, seal character of different styles of calligraphy
works. Calligrapher's superb calligraphy accomplishment, fresh and refined
calligraphy style won the high praise of Taiwan calligraphy and painting
circles as well as many calligraphy lovers. Taiwan "big brush king"
of Mr. Shi Weng, traditional Chinese painting master Mr. Zhang Jie, a famous
calligrapher Mr. Zhang Binghuang have said, "Lin Zhiliang's unique style
of calligraphy, but also can realize the essence of the word in love with
calligraphy, is commendable achievements." Calligraphy lovers from all over Taiwan have also arrived in Taipei to visit the
calligraphy exhibition. They either asked Lin Zhiliang for a word or asked Lin
Zhiliang about his hometown in South fujian. 5 days of calligraphy exhibition,
visitors flocked to the exhibition hall filled with strong
affection.
As the first solo exhibition of calligraphy
in Taiwan mainland calligrapher Lin Zhiliang visits Taiwan calligraphy tour has
been highly concerned by the Taiwan media, Taiwan media
calligrapher of the mainland of the motherland "Calligraphy Exchange
Tour" given tracking reports, and given
the very high appraisal to calligraphy exchange
activities.
According to reports, the 51 year old
Lin Zhiliang is Xiamen Tongan people, dedicated to calligraphy for decades,
is now a member of Fujian Calligraphers Association and Xiamen calligraphers
association.
